Scott headed to Olympics

Coleman Scott has clinched a spot on U.S. Olympic men’s freestyle wrestling team.

Caffrey hired at McGuffey

McGuffey reached into its past to find someone to lead its wrestling team into the future.
Mark Caffrey, who spent 21 years during two different stays at McGuffey and chalked up 307 career victories, was hired at Monday night's school board to lead the Highlanders' wrestling program for a third time.
Caffrey took a one-year leave of absence in 2000 for health reasons and resigned in 2004 to have hip replacement surgery.
Now, with his retirement from teaching at McGuffey set to begin this summer, Caffrey was looking for something to do. And the wrestling position that was previously held by Jeff Breese was opened.
